- AUTOPULSE: With the AUTOPULSE feature one can use the internal capabilities of the intelligent iBeam smart electronics. Frequencies up to 10 MHz can be programmed, the duty cycle can be set in the range from 1 to 99 % (depending on the frequency)
- Wavelength selection: Whenever a process shows extreme spectral dependence, the iBeam can be ordered with a tighter wavelength tolerance (e.g. 407 ± 1 nm). Thus you can be sure to get the ideal laser emission for your process.

- SmartDock - Fiber coupling: Especially designed for the iBeam smart TOPTICA's SmartDock turns the iBeam smart into a rugged fiber coupled diode laser system. Both single-mode and polarization-maintaining fibers can be connected to the SmartDock. Better than 60 % coupling efficiency is guaranteed, 75% are typical values, but efficiencies up to 90 % have been demonstrated due to the high beam quality of the iBeam smart.
